BOOKING

When do I need to book?

Sandspit Holiday Park is very popular, especially over the summer months. For January or public holidays, we recommend you book in advance to avoid disappointment.

How do I make a booking?

You can either call us on 09 425 8610 or email us at bookings@sandspitholidaypark.co.nz. Alternatively you can click the BOOKING BUTTON on the site and view availability and prices for the time you require.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

We do require the first nights minimum charge as a deposit to secure your booking.
You can pay this either by cheque, credit card or through a bank deposit.
Please contact us to find out how to do this. Your booking will not be confirmed until the deposit has been received. Credit cards incur a 3% surcharge.

What are the costs to book a cabin or site?

We’ve got a range of cabins which are all different in size and price. Please view prices for cabins and sites in the accommodation section.

CABINS

What is a Kitchen Cabin?

A kitchen cabin is a cabin with sleeping facilities and kitchen facilities, but does not include bathroom facilities. Linen is not provided but can be hired.

What is a Standard cabin?

A standard cabin is a basic cabin with only sleeping facilities. It does not include a kitchen or bathroom facilities. Linen is not provided but can be hired.

What is a self-contained Cabin?

A self contained cabin has sleeping, kitchen and bathroom facilities. Linen is provided for the double, bring bedding for the singles or hire linen for $8 per bed.

Check in is from 2pm. If you need to arrive earlier please check with us if we can accommodate your time.

Where are the cabins and sites located in the grounds?

Are there any activities within the camp ground?

Yes there’s lots of things to do and keep you entertained during your stay at Sandspit Holiday Park.

What facilities are available?

There is a shower, toilet and kitchen facility in the campground. To view a map of the grounds, please view the camp map.

Is this camp ground only for families?

No. Sandspit Holiday Park is great for families because of its location and all the activities available. However you don’t need to be a family to stay and there’s lots of quiet spots for couples wanting a relaxing weekend away. Just ask us for the best location when you book.
*We are not a ‘party’ camp. We have a strict 10.30pm quiet time, no excessive drinking and ‘no party’ policy. See our conditions of occupancy.

Please note all cabins have a 2 night minimum over the weekends in High Season.

Public holidays and long weekends require a minimum number of nights and minimum charges per night, call us to inquire.
