Just go ahead and book online through our booking link — it's quick and secure. Your booking comes through to us on request, which simply means we personally confirm each one (usually the same day) rather than it being fully automatic. It's just our way of keeping Sandspit the relaxed, family-friendly park everyone loves. You don't need to phone or email first — book online and we'll be in touch to confirm.

Check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out is by 10:00am. Reception is open 9:00am–6:00pm. If you're arriving outside these hours, give us a call to arrange it.

Beds come with a bottom sheet and pillows. You're welcome to bring your own duvet/sleeping bag and towels, or hire a linen set for $10 per bed. The self-contained cabins have their beds fully made up.

To keep the park comfortable for everyone, pets aren't allowed in cabins or during peak times. We do have a small number of pet-friendly campsites available in the off-season (May–October, excluding public holidays). Please check with us before booking if you'd like to bring a dog.

Yes — weekends between October and May have a 2-night minimum, and public holidays and long weekends have minimum-stay and minimum-charge requirements. Get in touch and we'll help you find dates that work.

Cancellations made within 10 days of arrival are forfeited unless we can re-book the site/cabin for the full period, and a $20 administration fee applies. There are no refunds during peak times (Christmas to 8 February) or public holidays. See our policies page for full details.

Boats can't be launched by vehicle from within the camp, but there's paid launching at the Marina, or free launching at the local wharf at the end of Sandspit Road. Boats and trailers are parked in our designated boat-parking areas.

Yes — we have both powered and non-powered (casual) sites, plus a dump station, fish-filleting/boat-wash bay and a laundry. See the camping page and facilities for more.
